Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions of Trade

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the terms and conditions of this agreement shall apply to any order placed by the Client. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and those passing between the parties these terms shall prevail. No variation of the terms and conditions shall be allowed unless expressly accepted in writing.

Delivery and Payment

A) Monthly credit terms will only be given to clients that have opened and been notified of an approved credit account with us. All other orders will require pre-payment in full.

B) Upon notification that the goods are ready, any balances of payment shall become due as specified on the invoice.

C) All goods supplied by Effortless Office Ltd shall remain the property of Effortless Office Ltd until paid for in full.

D) Failure to make payment by the due date could incur additional administration costs which will be added to the outstanding balance.

E) Whilst every endeavour will be made to meet any agreed completion date, Effortless Office Ltd cannot be held responsible for any deadline missed due to circumstances beyond our control. This will include but is not limited to late deliveries caused by any third party carrier.

F) All goods are considered to be delivered once inside the destination of the building unless specifically otherwise agreed to in writing.

G) Where, through no fault of ours, a job takes more than a month to complete from start to finish, Effortless Office Ltd reserves the right to charge monthly stage payments for any work completed.

Claims

Any query or claim regarding the goods supplied must be made to Effortless Office Ltd , in writing, within 7 days of receipt. No other claims will be considered. Claims for goods damaged in transit must be supported by photographic evidence of any packaging as we will need this evidence to lodge a claim against the carrier. Claims for goods damaged in transit without this evidence will not be considered.

Quotes

Quotations provided by Effortless Office Ltd Ltd, either through this website or emailed directly, are guaranteed for 28 days. After this time period any prices quoted may be revised should any changes to our pricing structures occur.

Artwork

A) Whilst Effortless Office Ltd checks all artwork submitted files for common printing pitfalls, we make no guarantee to spot potential problems unless we have otherwise agreed in writing. It is your responsibility to ensure any files you submit for printing are print-ready and problem free.

B) Where time permits, Effortless Office Ltd will usually supply a proof copy, as indicated on our estimate, for checking by the client. We will not be held responsible for any errors not corrected by the client at this stage.

C) When the Design/Typesetting/Artwork is undertaken by Effortless Office Ltd on behalf of the Client, proof copies will be submitted for checking and approval by the Client as satisfactory. No responsibility will be accepted for errors not corrected at the proof stage by the Client.

D) When style, type or layout is left to Effortless Office Ltd’s judgement, changes (as opposed to corrections) and additional proofs necessitated will be charged extra.

E) The copyright for artwork produced or created on behalf of a Client remains the intellectual property of Effortless Office Ltd and we reserve the right to make an appropriate charge for its subsequent release.

Variations

A) Every endeavour will be made to deliver at least the correct quantity ordered but due to the nature of the various mechanical processes involved, we will only agree to reprint on the very rare occasion where shortages of over 10% occur. We will of course credit or refund shortages of less than 10%.

B) Should problems in our supply chain occur, Effortless Office Ltd reserves the right to change stated papers to others of equal quality if necessary.

C) Effortless Office Ltd go to great lengths to ensure the colours we print are as specified in the artwork file and every effort will be made to make the best possible colour reproduction on your work. However, due to the differences in the various processes, materials, inks etc. involved, Effortless Office Ltd will not be required to guarantee an exact match of colour or texture to any hard copy or electronic original or proof.

Contract

By placing an order, the Client enters into a Contract. Effortless Office Ltd reserves the right to cancel the Contract at our discretion should circumstances dictate. The Client may cancel the Contract at any time but will be liable to pay for any expenses incurred by Effortless Office Ltd in attempting to fulfill the Contract.

Law

A) Effortless Office Ltd shall be indemnified by the Client in respect of any claims arising out of any libellous matter or any infringement of copyright, patent design or any other proprietary or personal rights contained in any material for the Client.

B) These terms and conditions shall be governed and constructed in accordance with the laws of England.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
